Randomness

Sometimes strange things happen. Sometimes even really good things happen. Sometimes the decisions of others seal our fates. But in a good way.

Life is weird. When you don't fight it, it rewards you. When you say "screw you life! throw more shit at me, I don't care!!", maybe at first life will test you but essentially life is fairly lazy and will give in and say this isn't fun anymore, let's go torture others.

Fuck. Miyazaki-sensei is right. I am finding zen through my practice of martial arts. Or maybe I have started to realize that some of the things that I have always wanted are not all that far away...

It's amazing how blind we are to some things. Until we learn to take a step back. Or are forced to take a step back at swordpoint (err....metaphorically that is).

*sigh*. I am content!

I also passed my Iaido nidan test and am going to Kagoshima for the long weekend tommorrow to wallow on beaches, in jungle onsens, and my own vomit after overdrinking. Life -- she is good!
